The Energizer Rechargeable Solar Charger is a compact portable solar-powered AA and AAA battery charger that transfers sunlight to power. The device will be available in the US in January 2009 priced at $50.

Features:

  • USB-out port to power other devices (since some cell phones, cameras, and GPS units have USB plugs, like most iPods for example
  • can also be charged from an AC wall outlet in addition to the sun

• weatherproof to withstand the elements

  • folds away flat
